TigerSharks are SEASAC Champions!

TigerSharks are SEASAC Champions!

Congratulations TigerSharks!

Congratulations to our TigerSharks SEASAC team who performed very well at the SEASAC 2014 Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was a very competitive meet and took a real team effort from swimmers, coaches and parents to achieve the results we did.

Bangkok Patana won the Boys’ Championships and placed 5th in the Girls’ Championship.

The team showed how hard they had worked to prepare by maintaining a Personal Best rating of over 90%.

Congratulations to the following swimmers who placed the in the individual age group point-score competitions:

Tan Sriprai 1st  in 11 – 12yrs Boys
Klang Jatusripitak 2nd  in 11 – 12years Boys
Luke Gebbie 2nd in 15 and Over Boys
Ton Kiangsiri 4th in 15 and Over Boys
Kate Wattanavekin 5th in 15 and Over Girls

Bangkok Patana also won the following age group Team Championships:

15 and Over Boys 
Chris Lo, Luke Gebbie, Anselm Xavier, Ajay Sribhibhadh and Ton Kiangsiri

11 – 12yrs Boys
Tan Sriprai, Klang Jatusripitak, Patrick Schlaeppi, Vincent Boulom and Krating Khemkhon

Our 15 and Over Boys broke an impressive four SEASAC Relay Records and won some very exciting and nail-biting relays against rivals UWC-Dover and CDNIS.

A special mention to our Primary students – Vincent Boulom, Misol Cheung and Niamh Flannery who all exceeded expectations and posted some amazing times.  The future is looking bright!

Thank you to the more than 20 TigerSharks parents who made the trip to Jakarta to support the team, your cheering and encouragement made all the difference to our swimmers.
